When it comes to optimizing your
online shopping
experience, the right
chrome extension
can make all the difference. The Quidco Chrome extension has been designed with this purpose in mind. Positioned as a "
shopping list organizer
," "
online shopping assistant
," and "
deal aggregator
," this extension aims to provide you with numerous benefits such as
cashback
,
coupons
, and
access
to various
shopping
deals and discounts. However, with an average rating of 2.91 out of 5, the question arises: is this one of the top Chrome extensions for your shopping needs, or should you keep it on your Christmas wishlist until further improvements are made?
The Perks of Using Quidco
Quidco promises to transform your online shopping experience by reminding you of available cashback offers when browsing online retailers. Users claim that this "shopping list app" ensures you never miss out on cashback again. All you need to do is add the extension, visit one of Quidco's many partnered retailers, click the ‘Activate cashback’ button on the pop up, make your purchase as usual, and then relax while your cashback is processed. This seems like a great way to enhance your overall shopping experience, right?
Where Quidco Falls Short
While the Quidco Chrome extension promises a rewarding shopping experience, user reviews highlight several areas of concern. Several users have reported that the extension does not always offer the best rates of cashback available. Some claim they have not received any cashback at all after making their purchases. The extension also does not seem to work consistently across different browsers, with some users reporting that it simply doesn't work at all. These user complaints suggest that while Quidco may have the potential to be a beneficial "shopping list manager" and "discount finder," it currently falls short of these expectations.
Recommendations for Potential Users
Based on these user reviews, we recommend that potential users exercise caution when considering the Quidco Chrome extension. While it may offer the convenience of reminding you of available cashback offers, the extension's reliability in actually delivering these benefits is questionable. It may be best to use the extension simply as a reminder that a site offers cashback, then go directly to the retailer's website to ensure you receive the best possible rate. Until improvements are made to the extension's functionality and reliability, this may be the best approach to maximize your cashback and discount opportunities while shopping online.
Conclusion
While the concept behind the Quidco Chrome extension is promising, user reviews suggest that it currently falls short of expectations in delivering reliable cashback and discount benefits. Potential users should weigh these factors carefully before deciding to incorporate this extension into their online shopping routines. As always, we remain committed to providing you with the most comprehensive and reliable information on the top Chrome extensions available to enhance your online shopping experience.

Even when it says you are logged in and getting cashback it often doesn't track and customer service is never any help. Quidco used to be great now it feels like a scam.
Used to be great, but now forgets my sign in every time i restart and while it tells me I've activated the cashback, often doesn't track in my account.
Avoid using this Extension, you may not get the best rate of cashback available. I recently used the Extension whilst opening an HSBC Bank Account. The extension reported the CashBack rate was £30. I recevied the email to state it had tracked later the same day. I went to look at the Quidco website and noticed the Cashback was advertised at £40 via the website. I have since also had 2 promotional emails promoting this rate of cashback. I contacted Quidco thinking it was a simple mistake with the extension and they would rectify it immediately and investigate the error. Instead they have tried to claim it was due to me being a Standard cashback account and the £40 rate was only available to Premium Members. This was simply an incorrect excuse. In both emails and the website, there was zero mention of it exclusive to Premium account holders (nor have I ever received any marketing targeted to premium members). I would recommend removing this extension and going exclusively via Quidco.com, or alternatively use it only to remind you that a site offers Cashback and then go via Quidco.com, otherwise you may not receive the best rate of cashback offered. Very disappointed as most of my interactions with Quidco have been positive until now, and I've been using them for years and acheived almost £1,000 in cashback.
Really useful little tool! Reminds me to activate my cashback on shops where its offered as quite often I forget! Earned a little over £65 on Black Friday just gone!
worked at first then stopped working - made a purchase through it but no bonus applied for the extension
Brilliant reminder that cashback exists on sites. Excellent addition to this fantastic service.
used when getting tickets for the sealife centre at the Trafford centre. cashback has tracked and gone into my account. I like the exta text it added on the search results to show me sites that have cashback too.
Great extension reminds me when I can sync to get cashback!
Asks me to login every single time now. Used to work better before, when it worked.
Made 2 purchases with the extension and neither of them have tracked
